Jenn Bennett:I started writing ten years ago. My first book was a contemporary fantasy called KINDLING THE MOON.
Q2. Your books are usually of Young Adult Genre. any specific reason?

Jenn Bennett : I enjoy writing books about protagonists that are in their teens. It’s an emotional time in everyone’s life with lots of changes and drama, trying to figure out who you are, and I like telling these stories.

Q3. Inspiration behind the Book “Serious Moonlight”?

Several years ago, my husband and I lived in a small apartment in downtown Seattle, near the iconic Pike Place Market. Last year, I searched online to see how our old neighborhood looked now and discovered that the entire apartment building had been converted into a swank hotel. That sparked the idea for this book.

1. What is your favorite place to write?I’m a full-time writer, and the only place I write is in my home office/art studio.
Favorite OTPs?All the ones in my books!

2. Can you share one book you’ve read recently that surprised you as a Reader? Jenn Bennett:UPROOTED by Naomi Novik.

3. You have an Upcoming release lined up as well, can you share your thoughts on the book?

Jenn Bennett: I have a YA historical with magical elements coming out in September, called THE LADY ROGUE. It’s about two teens in the 1930s who travel through Romania in search of the girl’s father, a treasure hunter who has disappeared while looking for a medieval ring that once belonged to Vlad the Impaler. The story features: travel on the Orient Express. Medieval Transylvanian castles. The Carpathians. Witches. Dangerous occultists. Magic. Cursed objects. Romanian folklore. And a forbidden, banter-filled romance.
