Hey Bookworms! Goodreads is celebrating young adult this week and I can’t help but feel happy about it .Being a girl in late teens , this genre gives me wings to fly. I simple adore the wide diversity in this genre. We’re living in a golden age of young-adult literature, when books ostensibly written for teens are equally adored by readers of every generation. In this YA Week , I’ll talk about few of my recent favorite YA books . Can’t wait to begin !!

Thriller-Sadie- Courtney Summers: One of the most intriguing young adult thriller .Well , this is Sadie’s story and how she embarks on the journey to avenge her sisters, Mattie’s murder . This is a very personal story and the readers create a emotional bond with the story. This is the book which is both harrowing and intense . This was a raw, emotional, and incredibly dark book. Sadie reads like a puzzle, with half of the story being told from Sadie’s perspective and half from the perspective of a man doing a podcast on Sadie’s disappearance. It’s partially up to you to piece together the timeline, which I loved!

Fantasy-Sorcery Of Thorns-Margaret Rogerson: A gem of a book this Standalone YA Fantasy which captivated its audience and me from page one, and I adored it so much. The incredible world-building and libraries or the brilliant writing . Or the characters, who are as real and which I came to love . The END is everything I could ask for and ever wished for . 450 pages gobbled in a day , such is the power of the book . The author created a magical and fantasy-ical world of books and magic. .

Rom-com-Always and Forever Lara Jean : And there’s still so much to look forward to: a class trip to New York City, prom with her boyfriend Peter, Beach Week after graduation, and her dad’s wedding to Ms. Rothschild. Then she’ll be off to college with Peter, at a school close enough for her to come home and bake chocolate chip cookies on the weekends. Now the girl who dreads change must rethink all her plans—but when your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to. A fitting end to the trilogy . Netflix comes soon with the part 3 also.

Rom-com-Tweet Cute- Emma Lord: Meet Pepper, swim team captain, chronic overachiever, and all-around perfectionist. Her family may be falling apart, but their massive fast-food chain is booming ― mainly thanks to Pepper, who is barely managing to juggle real life while secretly running Big League Burger’s massive Twitter account.Enter Jack, class clown and constant thorn in Pepper’s side. When he isn’t trying to duck out of his obscenely popular twin’s shadow, he’s busy working in his family’s deli. When Big League Burger steals his grandma’s iconic grilled cheese recipe, he’ll do whatever it takes to take them down, one tweet at a time. All’s fair in love and cheese ― that is, until Pepper and Jack’s spat turns into a viral Twitter war. Little do they know, while they’re publicly duking it out with snarky memes and retweet battles, they’re also falling for each other in real life ― on an anonymous chat app Jack built. Utterly delicious.

LGBTQ-Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda – Sixteen-year-old and not-so-openly gay Simon Spier prefers to save his drama for the school musical. But when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at risk of being thrust into the spotlight. Now change-averse Simon has to find a way to step out of his comfort zone before he’s pushed out—without alienating his friends, compromising himself, or fumbling a shot at happiness with the most confusing, adorable guy he’s never met.Incredibly funny and poignant, this twenty-first-century coming-of-age, coming out story—wrapped in a geek romance—is a knockout of a debut novel by Becky Albertalli.

Rom-com: You’d Be Mine- Annie Mathers is America’s sweetheart and heir to a country music legacy full of all the things her Gran warned her about. Superstar Clay Coolidge is most definitely going to end up one of those things.Swayed by Clay’s undeniable charm and good looks, Annie and her band agree to join the tour. From the start fans want them to be more than just tour mates, and Annie and Clay can’t help but wonder if the fans are right. But if there’s one part of fame Annie wants nothing to do with, it’s a high-profile relationship. She had a front row seat to her parents’ volatile marriage and isn’t interested in repeating history. If only she could convince her heart that Clay, with his painful past and head over heels inducing tenor, isn’t worth the risk.
