Hello Bookworms ! My Quarantine took a slump and my reading also took a slump and so did my blogging . But Thank God , it has just lasted five days and I am glad I am back . I am glad to tell you that I have completed 50% of my Goodreads challenge . In the Month of April, I read a couple of thrillers . Literally I had become so obsessed with them . So Today I bring some Thriller Recommendation to read this Lock down . India has entered it’s Lockdown 4.0 with several restrictions .

Behind Closed Doors – Before starting this one keep in mind that appearances can be deceiving. “Behind Closed Doors” is a gripping, thought-provoking thriller with some psychological and mystery elements that will keep you at the edge of your seat. The story has some interesting twists and turns and I have to say it has a good, solid plot that will keep you entertained from the beginning. B. A. Paris delivered an interesting, page turner thriller that will almost give you anxiety attacks. The story is written really well and overall it was a pretty addictive read!

The Silent Patient –  I am floored by the book . Never have I read such a plot-twist and such a story-line .I had a mindfuck while reading the book .It’s very compelling. A psychotherapist called Theo Faber narrates the story and he announces early on that he’s pretty “fucked up”. He worms his way into a new job at the Grove mental health facility because of his fascination with the artist Alicia Berenson, who murdered her husband in an open-and-shut case and hasn’t spoken a word since. There is so much story woven altogether that by the end of the book , you are awestruck .

Before I go to Sleep – Before I Go to Sleep is about a woman called Christine who wakes up every morning with no memory of who she is. Through labeled pictures and the help of her husband, every day she pieces together her life and learns of the accident that made her this way. But then a visit from a mysterious doctor leads her towards the private journal she has been writing to herself – a journal that tells her things might not be as they seem and the one person she should be able to trust could be lying. Personally, I found this book so thrilling. I even loved the movie featuring Nicole Kidman .

Sadie – One of the most intriguing young adult thriller .Well , this is Sadie’s story and how she embarks on the journey to avenge her sisters, Mattie’s murder . This is a very personal story and the readers create a emotional bond with the story. This is the book which is both harrowing and intense . This was a raw, emotional, and incredibly dark book. Sadie reads like a puzzle, with half of the story being told from Sadie’s perspective and half from the perspective of a man doing a podcast on Sadie’s disappearance. It’s partially up to you to piece together the timeline, which I loved!

Little Secrets – Four hundred and eighty seconds. That’s how long it took for someone to steal Marin Machado’s four-year-old son.The narrative is split between the two main female characters, Marin and MK .Both are well-developed and have distinct voices. All of the characters add a different perspective to the story, yet some are still likable.Filled with secrets, deception and a ton of twists and turns, this book kept me riveted! It is fast-paced and filled with tension. I went into this book blind

The Wife Between Us- Assume nothing. “The Wife Between Us” is a twisted and complex psychological suspense novel. A story about marriage, friendship, betrayal, manipulation, obsession and more. A fast-paced and addictive novel that held my interest from start to finish. This story kept me on my toes guessing right up until the very end. I honestly can’t wait to read more from Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen.
