Hey Guys , Five Feet Apart is finally available on Netflix . I was super excited to see this movie because of Cole Sprouse and the amazing sound track of the movie . Well , I watched this bitter sweet movie and here I am writing the review of the movie . I don’t know much about CF but I can say that the movie dealt with the illness very deftly .
My Rating -5 ☆☆☆☆☆
Plot-Stella Grant (Haley Lu Richardson) is every bit a seventeen-year-old… she’s attached to her laptop and loves her best friends. But unlike most teenagers, she spends much of her time living in a hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control — all of which is put to the test when she meets an impossibly charming fellow CF patient named Will Newman (Cole Sprouse). There’s an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that .
“Everyone in this world is breathing borrowed air.”
So this book has been my TBR list ever since it was announced and then I heard about the directorial venture by Justin Baldoni . Well , I knew I had to watch this one . But my wait was over a couple of days ago only , when the movie was available on Netflix. (Hop on to watch this one soon !!)
“I’m tired of living without really living. I’m tired of wanting things. We can’t have a lot of things. But we could have this.”
Despite being stretched out, Five Feet Apart relies on its cast to deliver some unexpected heartfelt moments that often surpass the cliches of a young adult tragic romance. The story of the CF patients maybe not be 100% correct but I loved how the movie was portrayed . Sprouse and Richardson provide us with such a glimpse of Will and Stella that the audience is compelled to fall in love with the characters . The movie keeps you hooked in-spite of the cliche tropes present in every teen movies. It’s no Fault in Our Stars, but is still quite adorable. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this one, and love all the little aspects that composed it. I wished for a bit more complexity and emotional depth from the main and side characters, but still found that they had nice enough story-lines. I was overwhelmed with the ending and the tears couldn’t stop falling down . Highly recommended watching with a box of tissues .
Is it on Netflix?
