My Rating – 4.5 Stars
Genre – Romance Published On – July 16 , 2019
Plot – Maddie and Theo have two things in common: 1. Alexa is their best friend 2. They hate each other. After an “Oops, we made a mistake” kiss, neither one can stop thinking about the other. With Alexa’s wedding rapidly approaching, Maddie and Theo both share bridal party responsibilities that require more interaction with each other than they’re comfortable with. Underneath the sharp barbs they toss at each other is a simmering attraction that won’t fade. It builds until they find themselves sneaking off together to release some tension when Alexa isn’t looking.
An enemies to lovers romance by Jasmine Guillory… I’m here for it! I don’t know why but I seriously love this trope so much . There some beauty attached to it and when it progresses into love , it becomes more fun . Maddie and Theo literally hate each other , like literally. From the moment they first met, they just misunderstood each other the wrong way. They were just so different. But things went awry and they spent a night together . Sounds cliche , right !!! But there is more in store , they want to keep it a secret from the rest of the world . The funny thing is that nearly everyone had a clue of what is going on but they remained oblivious . There is a loads of character development throughout the book. There are loads of funny scenes which made me laugh out .
With the wedding of Alexa quickly approaching, the bridesmaid and bridesman end up spending more time together and falling in lovee, which they already had but never expected . With time, Maddie and Theo really get to know each other and they like what they see. It’s like they are actually perfect for each other, opposites attract and all that.
We get a fluffy ,steamy, sweet, sassy, and a book that has some comic timings !! A light romance read!!!

I loved your review!
I read The Wedding Date and enjoyed it but I didn’t go on to read The Proposal because I saw quite a few not so great reviews. Have you read it?

Fun review, I can almost imagine what happens! I find it funny (and kind of cute) that they’re trying to hide their relationship so badly but everyone else already knows to some degree. And I agree, the enemies to lovers trope is so interesting and enjoyable!
