Korean Drama (2014-15) My Rating- 5 Stars Watch it on Netflix (Rewatch value)

Plot – Seo Jung Hoo is a special kind of night courier, known only as “Healer”. For the right price and with the help of a genius hacker, he gets his clients whatever they want, as long as it doesn’t involve murder. His latest job leads him to a second-rate tabloid writer, Chae Young Shin and the successful reporter, Kim Moon Ho. He begins to uncover the mystery of a shared past with the two reporters, putting them all in danger.

Healer is unlike all the Korean Drama’s I have ever seen and it is going to be my favorite one for a long time , no-doubt!!! The drama is like no other ,I have seen . Its just PERFECTION . I think it’s rare to find these kind of Drama’s. Everything from the Plot to character and the pacing was flawless. Right from the episode one , we are introduced to Healer, a night courier who does all the kind of shady work except Murder. The character is deftly played by Ji Chang Wook . He brings a sense of innocence to the aloof ‘Healer.’ Enter Park min Young ,Chae Young Shin , a reporter at Someday News. She is a happy -go -lucky girl and a bit weird with a lots of secrets behind. She is one of those heroine which you can’t help but love . Her meeting Healer and having complete faith on him made her a strong character . She brings a comic element in the story-line.

The chemistry between the leads was just faultless and without any tropes like unnecessary love triangles , it was carried out well. There are two stories shown , one in the present time and the other one in past through flashbacks. In fact the narrative is done in effective manner which makes the drama not having a dull moment in-spite of being 20 episodes drama. Perfection. That is the only word I can use to describe the absolute treasure that was Healer. Plus the OST is so great .
Healer is a drama that is a perfect amalgamation of a korean dram with all the familiar tropes of romance , thriller and mystery blended together making it a master piece and becoming my favourite Drama.

Sounds good. Haven’t watched this one yet. Finished Uncontrollably Fond–loved it though it made me tear up a lot. Now will probably watch Sky Castle. Should add Healer to my list!

Yes it is very sad- story itself is very sad and watching it one can’t help thinking that he got sick in real life too, so it makes it more unnerving. I cried a lot.
