I’ve read The Devil Wears Prada and I think I enjoyed it ok? The newer Lululemon book was definitely better. Great post, Priyasha!

I still have Sea Witch sitting on my shelf and am not sure if I’ll get to it any time soon! Hopefully, it isn’t too bad.
I felt the same about Pravda. I wanted a bit more. The movie was good though.

I actually really liked Flawed. The plot was interesting. But I totally get why you didn’t like it. Haven’t read the other books but I have heard a lot about the devil wears prada. Great post💞

I haven’t read any of these, but I have not heard flattering things about The Devil Wears Prada. I kind of liked the movie, but when I tried to read the book, the author was too whiny.

I’ll agree on The Devil Wears Prada. I actually really liked The Sun Is Also a Star. I almost picked up Sea Witch but something told me no don’t do it lol.

OMG I so loved The Devil Wears Prada!!!!! LOL Now I chose much more than 5 this week (I’ve been a rebel LOL)

Haven’t read these but want to read the Sea Witch. It really sucks when books don’t live up to hype. There needs to be a balance between reading fun reviews and not learning anything about a hook before reading it

I actually really loved The Sun is also a Star, but I get that it is in quite a particular style. I know it very much wasn’t for everyone!

Thanks for the interesting list. I expected to be blown away by The Devil Wears Prada but couldn’t get into it. Very glad I wasn’t the only one! Quite enjoyed The Sun is also a Star, though.

I’ve read only the Devil Wears Prada our of this whole list. While I did like the book fairly so, the film was much much better (Meryl Streep!), so I agree to it being on this list (but the movie!)

Snow Like Ashes wasn’t my favorite either! Another book that didn’t live up to the hype for me was Throne of Glass. I know so many people love it, but the MC annoyed me so much and I couldn’t connect with her. I’m going to try again at some point to see if I like it better, but for now, it definitely falls into this category for me!
