  1. I’ll agree on The Devil Wears Prada. I actually really liked The Sun Is Also a Star. I almost picked up Sea Witch but something told me no don’t do it lol.

  3. Haven’t read these but want to read the Sea Witch. It really sucks when books don’t live up to hype. There needs to be a balance between reading fun reviews and not learning anything about a hook before reading it

Did not think The sun is also a star was really special though

  5. Thanks for the interesting list. I expected to be blown away by The Devil Wears Prada but couldn’t get into it. Very glad I wasn’t the only one! Quite enjoyed The Sun is also a Star, though.

  6. I’ve read only the Devil Wears Prada our of this whole list. While I did like the book fairly so, the film was much much better (Meryl Streep!), so I agree to it being on this list (but the movie!)

  7. Snow Like Ashes wasn’t my favorite either! Another book that didn’t live up to the hype for me was Throne of Glass. I know so many people love it, but the MC annoyed me so much and I couldn’t connect with her. I’m going to try again at some point to see if I like it better, but for now, it definitely falls into this category for me!
