My Rating: 4 STARS
Genre : Fantasy
Published on : May 2016
Plot : Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.
This is going to be a raving kind of review. I finally read this book after much delay and interruption and I totally loved it . My only regret is that I did not read this book earlier . I guess I was busy with reading ARC’S but I am really glad I picked it up now .ACOMAF was way better than ACOTAR in all the aspects whether in World Building ,character development or plot setup. After reading ACOMAF , I felt that ACOTAR was just a sort of introduction to the world. This book , on the other hand was superb in its own accord . I loved the author’s writing style. This book was a perfect combination of fantasy and romance. ACOMAF explores the fae world in a beautiful sort of way . I loved the characters , world ,plot ,storyline not to mention the dialogues immensely . We are introduced to the Night court and VELARIS (asdfvhh yeah !!!!) .
“To the people who look at the stars and wish, Rhys.”
Rhys clinked his glass against mine. “To the stars who listen— and the dreams that are answered.
Sarah J. Maas, A Court of Mist and Fury
And that’s not it we have more in store ,Rhysand’s Inner circle , Mor,Cassian,Azriel,Amren , they just add so much more to the story and Feyre feels at home with them ,so do I .
Feyre is back in a more deadly and sassy role and one can’t help but fangirl about her. Rhysand and Feyre , well I have no words for their epic romance but the below lines excerpted from the book are enough:” I fell in love with you, smartass, because you were one of us—because you weren’t afraid of me, and you decided to end your spectacular victory by throwing that piece of bone at Amarantha like a javelin. I felt Cassian’s spirit beside me in that moment, and could have sworn I heard him say, ‘If you don’t marry her, you stupid prick, I will.”
So I have to say it was a really great read, perfect for YA and fantasy fans, although maybe the size of the book will deter some from picking it up. Yes, it is a solid 600- pages book , but once I picked it up and started reading it I was so engaged and mesmerized.

this is the best book in the trilogy… long, yes, but i read it in 2 nights, not counting daytime. I was left with a massive book hangover after this one and couldn’t get into another book for days. I haven’t picked 3.1 yet, but I know like the third, it won’t stand up to this one.
but now i’m curious, why 4 stars if you enjoyed it this much? i didn’t see any complaints, except for the length.

I felt like giving 5 stars but then I thought how I should give an honest rating and I had to admit that the length was a bit too much, hence I decided to go with 4 Stars . BTW how did you find acowar?❤😁

you’d hate my book then, just for the length.
I prefer the lengthy books from the short ones, so i didn’t have any trouble with how long this book was. But for book 3, a court of wings and ruin, it was pretty good, though not as intense as book 2. It wasn’t that it was bad, but that book 2 was incredibly good, and book three was less…. emotional, i guess. And more predictable with the war approaching.

It’s funny that you say you regret not reading this book sooner… It’s still on my TBR shelf… As in, LITERALLY. I have a bookcase of books I have already purchased and plan to read… Eventually. I really need to get to this one! .. And the 200 other titles on that shelf… 👍👍😅

Oh, that’s not even counting all of my ebooks… Right now I have author requests I’m focusing on… After that? It’s pretty much a game of Russian roulette? Ha ha! I spin the wheel and take a pick. Although, in my version I hope it’s NOT a dud! 😉😅
